Tactile resources

Hit the ‘Tactile’ category on the right for the blog or read on for an introduction..

The main reason I got into 3D printing in the first place was to create three dimensional tactile resources for visitors to Winchester Science Centre:

The Centre is the physical manifestation of an educational charity on a mission to ‘Spark Curiosity’ and raise the Science Capital of all who it engages with. I’ve been working there as Head of Education/Curiosity now for over 3 years (at time of writing). Part of that mission is to make science accessible – a vision which will take the entire public engagement sector to realise, but Winchester Science Centre can become a beacon of good practice here. I’m involved in this vision at a strategic level but I also wanted to do something to help on a personal level.

On this page I will be sharing prints I make for Winchester Science Centre – there sources if it wasn’t me and instructions on how to reproduce them if you want to. Happy printing!
